She was at the pound, separated from her puppies. She was an abused rescue and wouldn't come to me so i knew she would be euthanized. It took two lengthy visits to get her to come to me and when she did, she literally slid over to me gradually with a streak of pee behind her. She was full of milk and broken. I asked her if she wanted to come with me and she got right up. For 8 years she's slept with me and goes where I go. She's protective of women & children & I'm afraid a man will hurt her.
