My missing black schnoodle, Boomie, is about 5 years old, and is nearly jet
black with wisps of gray. He has one unique characteristic: His ears do not
both always 'sit' the same way. His right ear will sometimes stick straight
out (ala Yoda) while the other flops down the normal way -- not always, but
sometimes. We called them "yoda ears" when this happened.
Boomie is owned by Mark and Patricia Mateya from Boiling Springs. I am
Mark. Patricia and I are in the middle of a divorce. Boomie was given away
some time in early or mid November and I have only learned of it recently.
I am interested in knowing that he is safe and healthy, happy, etc., first
and foremost. If he is in a shelter (which I suspect) or in harm's way, I
most certainly wish to retrieve him. He was always a good natured dog, but
had become a little more aggressive in the past year. He was with my wife.
She would not allow me to have him.
Boomie was given away without the input or knowledge of our daughter
Rachel. She was heartbroken when she learned it, but was powerless to stop
it. I and Rachel need some closure. My wife will not tell us where the dog
has been taken.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post. God Bless.

Hi buddy, got any news if he's been found already?

No. Sadly, my ex-wife never revealed where Boomie was or what was done
with him. I had to release him (ie, personally let him go so as not to
hold anger or bitterness in my own heart) and trust God that Boomie was in
a safe, happy home.
Thank you for asking. I would still like to know where he is. If he is
safe and happy, I would never try to seize him or retake him. I might
drive to the house, park across the street with the windows up (so he
can't smell me) and take a look at him to satisfy mself that he is well.
That would give me a little more closure.
Thanks again,
Mark
