Precious is a 16 y/o yorkie who is blind and hard of hearing. She was lost for 29 hours. I posted on multiple websites (including this one), and Facebook and Nextdoor to spread the word. I post signs around my neighborhood and placed flyers in everyone’s mailbox. I had given up hope, since she is a small blind, old dog who was lost in an area that has foxes, bobcats, raccoons, and other wild animals. Then I received a phone call from one of my neighbors saying that she had seen my flyers and heard whining/barking and went to go investigate. Precious was found in a ditch. My small, blind yorkie has survived the night and lasted 29 hours without food/water in the “wilderness”. An absolute miracle. Don’t lose hope! This website helped me spread the word and wouldn’t have been able to find her and have hope without their help!
