Nicky is back home. Someone down the street saw him walking around less than an hour after he got out and took him into their home 5 days ago. Today they decided to see if anyone had lost a dog, and they returned him. I’m so glad he is home safely. Never having lost a dog before, I didn’t know where to turn. I posted on social media, craigslist, contacted the Humaine Society, and then somebody suggested LostMyDoggie. Within 30 minutes of filling out their free registration online, LostMyDoggie had already sent a flyer to all the local veterinary offices and shelters and emailed me a lost dog flyer to print out in my neighborhood. The response time was incredible. I highly recommend anyone that loses as a pet to start here. It’s a great resource!
