I am single and retired. My lost dog Patches came from Carolina Poodle Rescue. He is gray and white/ 6.9 lbs/ neutered/chipped with blue collar and 2 tags one yellow which is Home Again the other is a green rabie tag. He is still frightened therefore he will run from you when called
I have another dog 5 lbs black poodle named Clyde....Just Plain Clyde.
A dog keeps you company and gives you all the love they have in their little hearts. He has a rag doll that we call his baby and he likes me to kick it for him. I go 1 2 3 and kick. Clyde thinks that is wonderful
I belong to a Bible Study Group that meets on Thursday and we are now studying Acts. I also go to First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. If you are ever in North Carolina in the area of Indian Trail come see us. We would love to have you.

Patches and Clyde
I had a female Poodle 6 lbs named Sassy. At 24 yrs I had her put down. She was my best friend
How We Met:
Patches I adopted from Carolina Poodle Rescue just 2 months ago but he was the kind of dog that captures your heart right away. His personality always kept me smiling or laughing. I think he is my favorite of all 3 dogs I have had and in such a short time. He was 9 but he acted like a 2 yr old child and Clyde at 5 yrs acts like an old man....he is spoiled (my fault) however he is so sweet and cute..
Pet Likes:
Patches like to run. Once he got outside he would run like a deer and he would go to the end of the yard where all the leaves are piled and take a dive and then roll over and over again. He was a happy dog.
When he was ready to come in he would take off running and hit the storm door with his front paws like a elephant. KA Whap......
I could tell a thousand more stories about Patches but not enough word space. Remember I only had him about 1 mo or so. He wins your heart immedately.
Pet Dislikes:
PATCHES LIKED EVERYTHING. He actually climbed a wire fence to get out. He simply wanted to see what was on the other side.
Favorite Spots:
Pathes favorite spot was my lap or as close as Clyde would allow. When sleeping Clyde scoots as close to me as possible and then Patches plops down beside him and lays on his back and stretches his legs over Clyde to touch me and that is how he stays all night.
Favorite Toy:
I guess his favorite toy was the lid off a coffee can. He plalyed with that like a frizbe...He liked everything he touched.
Silliest Habit:
climbing onto my loveseat and peeking over the counter into the kitchen to see what I am doing. When my back is turned he will climb on top of the counter and gram my dish washing brush and quietly sit down on the love seat and chew on it. He was a little sneak
Sweetest Moment:
Every moment was his sweetest moment. When I would go to sit down he would jump up on the sofa or chair and get behind me so I could not sit back. He would take all 4 paws and press against my back.
My Pet Is Unique Because:
Because he was rescued and we do not know from what but when he came to my home he was very stiff and frightened. He did not even want to be handled and in 1 month he was totally changed. Such a happy and carefree dog. I guess that is what I hate the most. His bad times are begining over again being lost.
