Hi, everyone! My name is Ash Brumett and I am a clinical psychology doctoral student at Palo Alto University in Palo Alto, CA working under Wendy Packman, Ph.D., JD. I would like to invite you to participate in my dissertation research study on missing pets. There is no compensation for your participation, but this study will help researchers and therapists better understand what it is like, as a pet owner, to have a pet go missing and the complexity of this kind of loss. To date, very little is known about the emotional toll of a pet’s disappearance. Your experience matters.
