My senior Yorkshire Terrier went missing 05/16/17 a.m. My husband let her out before leaving for work and forgot to bring her back in. I was asleep and she apparently went out under the fence. I woke up a few hours later and didn't realize she was missing until I went to let out my other dog. Complete horror!! She is 11 years old and practically our child. I have never lost a pet before and the feeling is just awful. But I went online and lostmydoggie was the first site I found. Within minutes I was able to make a flyer online that I would print and post online. My husband came home and took to the streets and passed out and hung fliers everywhere while looking for her. I stayed home and posted the flier on every board possible - including a lost pet group for my city on Facebook. Several hours later as I was beginning to fear the night coming I got an email from lostmydoggie saying someone had info on my dog. It turned out to be an agent for maricopa animal control. A good samaritan had picked up my dog and called animal control and she checked the Facebook post for lost dogs in my area which had my lostmydoggie flyer posted and I ended up hearing the best words possible on the other end of the line. "I saw your flier online and I think I have your dog!" We are beyond grateful and overjoyed she is home!!
