We had left one of her favorite blankets out where we saw her last night with some chicken and ham.That is what we had in our fridge. So, that is what we brought with us in a hurry. Someone that night had seen her, but we were unable to get her to come to us. She would just sprint away. She ran in the dark and we were unable to get see her. The next morning, when I woke up, I got my car to drive over there ---- just check that area not expecting to see anything. I have been driving every morning and afternoon since she's been gone. She has been gone since 12/6 at 11 AM. When I got to the area where we had put the blanket I noticed something white on top of it. Sure enough it was her! So, I decided I am not going to chase her because that has not worked. I got out of my car real slowly left the door open and kneeled next to my car door. I just started calling her really sweetly. She looked right at me and stood up and I thought oh shoot she is going to start running again. But she just started walking towards me a little faster each time once I kept calling her and she walked up really quick when she noticed and recognize me. She just jumped in my arms and started wailing and crying and howling. It was just like those videos you see when dogs are reunited with their owners after a long time has passed! She cried and held onto me with her a little paws for a good 10 to 15 minutes.
