Our beloved Bernese Mountain Dog, Scout, female, 3 1/2 years old, spade, ran away after seeing her dog friend being hit by a truck and killed. Neighbors think that Scout may have been injured by this truck, too,not sure. She has never run away. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. She is very pretty, very friendly, about 110 lbs., is micro-chipped, has tags, black color with tags on it, very frightened by storms and loud sounds. Loved dearly, has all of her shots current. She does not bite. Very playful. She has been gone for two full nights and this is the third day. We are worried sick about her. She is very large and cannot understand how it is possible that no one has seen her. Our neighbors in Providence Oaks know her well from her frequent dog walks in the neighborhood. I have contacted many agencies, shelters, vets, Highway patrol, microship company-Avid, Police depts., etc. Working on flyers now. Please call us with any info. Even if she is not alive. We want to at least say goodbye to our family member and give her a proper burial. If she is alive and needs help, we want to help her ASAP. Thank you!
