We found a sweet yellow Labrador near Topeka, Kansas. We had her checked for a microchip, but she doesn't have one. We've checked with our local shelter and all the vets in our area. Nobody is missing a yellow lab. The vet that checked her for the microchip thinks she might be about 8 years old. She is a sweetheart and knows how to sit on command. She was wearing a collar, but no tags. I hope we can get this little girl home soon. I don't want to see her taken to the shelter.

Can you post a picture of your dog? I think this dog might be older than 3.

Is her collar a bright orange or washed out?

washed out and there is a strip of reflectant on it that is peeling off she also will have a scare on rt side of her stomach towards her back about 1/2"or so where another dog hooked her when she was a puppy she will also like her lip when you scratch her on her butt.
