I am a member of Northgate Kiwanis in Seattle which is part of the Pacific 
Northwest District of Kiwanis International.  Gov. Project is to do 
something with dogs-i.e.service dogs, adoption of dogs in need, dogs for 
the deaf etc.  We are planning an event in April, 2010.  The current 
thought is dog trainers, dog rescure breed displays, dog store displays, 
an adopt a dog event coupled with a pancake breakfast.  What we need to 
know is the dog community response to this type of idea.
