When I got home one day, my dogs were missing. Panicked, I went looking for my dogs and they were no where to be found. I sat on my front steps hoping they would be trotting up the door. I had my laptop with me intending to go to the microchip website and report them missing. I came across Lostmydoggie.com clicked on the link and submitted all of my information. Luckily, my dogs were found at the shelter the next day. Unfortunately, the shelter did not scan my dogs' microchip to inform me that they had them. Luckily, I found them on my own; additionally, when I picked them up, the animal officer told me that he recognized the dogs from the flyer they received. I am happy I found this website, any information that can reunite you with your pet is helpful. Lesson learned... Don't rely on a microchip! Do what you can and get the word out as quickly as possible to find your pet and this website helped me do just that.
