We lost our dog when our house sitter left the gate open and seems like our dog was picked up soon by a yard maintainence crew. He was returned the next week after we put up flyers saying reward and a picture of him. I spent a couple of hundred dollars that week in gas, driving to all of the shelters I could and still not hitting all of them in the pheonix metro area, paying a teen to ride his bike and cover more neighborhoods with flyers. I spent a lot of time putting up flyers in a few shelters and street corners and money making color copies. I had only made a small dent in the area I needed to cover and had 2 groups of friends walk through our neighborhhood, probably spending 10 hours doing that when a phone call would have alerted several hundred people right around me. This is a great service , I only wish I found it a week earlier , don't waste time and money wondering if you should do it. I hope I don't go through this again but if it happens , it will be the first phone call I make to have the calls and flyers go up immediately. If you don't get info up at the shelters alone , in Phoneix your pet could be put down or adopted out in 72 hours. It was really hard to try and work and run my life and hit the shelters alone every other day. Kimberly - Tempe, AZ
